As Joseph Fee worked on Roosevelt Island's seawall this stone caught his eye, as if calling to him, and inspired Fee. The rock remains in contact with water as it had in 'its previous life'. Here, though, it becomes more than functional, it speaks of its form--and perhaps its past?.
